message numbers in message list view?

Is there a way to have the number of messages per conversation / contact visible in message list view?
example:
contact X (3)
contact Y (15)
contact Z
number 1 (2)
(I tried searching, but couldn't find anything)
If this feature is missing consider this a feature request.
FWIW, this has not changed in SailfishOS 1.0.3.8 (not that I expected it to change, this comment is just for completeness).
