So, hotspot doesn't turn off when closing it - battery drains faster. Happened with Ohijärvi, and still on Paarlampi. Reboot stops that, but I don't want to lose my uptime. :D

Anyone else having this?

What exactly are you closing and what does not turn off?

When using the Tethering app: When closing this app, the mobile data network connection is disconnected (what I rather regard as wrong: to end tethering the pull down menu entry should be used, but different people may see this different).

When using |- Settings | System | Internet sharing -|: When switching off internet sharing, the mobile data network connection icon (as well as WiFi icon) on the settings short-cut screen remain lit, however app IP address does not state an IP address for the mobile connection (only for WiFi), i.e. it remains unclear, whether this connection is in idle state (i.e. switched on only to be activated when out of WiFi reach) or whether it is still connected (and the IP address hidden from the user).

I'm closing network sharing from settings. And yes, it seems to shut down, but then battery starts to drain, like it did when I used Tethering-app. (And yes, closed it at pull down menu)

I am using the builtin tethering over WIFI (1.0.5.20). I have to reboot the phone each time I close the tethering or otherwise there is significant battery drain.

After using tethering, I have switched off tethering, WiFi and mobile data (according to the icons). Battery seems to be draining heavily nonetheless.

While working on this, maybe you could include a feature suggested by this question: https://together.jolla.com/question/55433/how-do-i-adjust-the-wifi-transmission-power-of-the-wlan-hotspot/

Still present in 1.1.0.39 Uitukka... This affects me a lot, since I use WLAN hotspot daily. I blamed aliendalvik and/or Android apps, until Uitukka, and after a lot of testing, came into conclusion that it was hotspot issue.

@Direc We believe we got this fixed and it will be part of the next update.

I guess this is still not fixed, i.e. not fixed in 1.1.1.27, since this bug report is not closed.
