It's a bug in aliendalvik and can happen in any android application. I don't know yet what triggers it. You can fix it without reboot by running as 'devel-su' in terminal. [You may look for details about enabling devel-su here: http://forum.jollausers.com/sailfish-news/devel-su-password/ ]

systemctl restart aliendalvik.service

This causes android part of the phone to restart. It will close all open android applications. After the restart you may have to wait ~10 seconds after you try to start your first application to launch.
