Use your laptop/desktop to run a CHKDSK (I'm pretty sure that's the correct command) on the SD card.

On Windows 7 I think you can also right click on the SD card where it shows up in Windows Explorer, click on Properties, then Tools, choose Check Now in the Error Checking section. I think this will check for errors and fix them. Once you have done this it should solve your rebooting problems when the SD card is inserted.
