Hi,

I'll duplicate my post from jollausers for now.

Native call recording application for SailfishOS is publicly available now. I've put it onto openrepos.net and my personal page on github.io.

Please note that it requires the latest SailfishOS update (update9, SailfishOS 1.1), otherwise it won't record any calls.

Up-to-date information on usage, known issues and troubleshooting is always available in README.

The current version is 0.2-2 which, as you can see from its version number, is premature and still has to gain more and more functionality. Nevertheless it does what it has to do - records all incoming and outgoing voice calls.

Please feel free to ask any questions not covered by the document mentioned above, propose new features, tell how to improve existing ones.

It's really important that you share your installation and usage experience since the app was tested on a couple devices only.

Thanks.

Cheers, Dmitriy

    • Regression with default source switching fixed (#21).

    Other notable changes:

    • Main page (list of recordings, EventsPage.qml) is now merged with selection page (EventsPicker.qml);

    • Every list item on the main page displays its phone number now;

    • All actions of list context menu are now available in push and pull menus on Details page (EventPage.qml);

    • DBus interfaces were refactored.

    Recordings selection and mass removal are now implemented in the main recording list. The modes are switched by the corresponding pull menu item. All recordings meeting filter criteria may be removed in selection mode by the corresponding pull menu item.

    Filtering by phone number works also with partial phone numbers. Starting, ending or middle digit sequences can be used to search. Search term is highlighted in filtered results.

    A .nomedia file is created automatically at storage location to prevent tracker from mining the recordings and displaying them in Media application. However, if the recordings already appear in Media, it might be needed to rebuild the media database using Sailfish Utililies (see Jolla Store) and reboot your phone (by Åke Engelbrektson, see #24).

    UI application may close unexpectedly when changing UI language and quickly minimizing it with a gesture.

    Please help to translate the call recorder to your language at Transifex.

    Please feel free to ask any questions not covered by the document mentioned above, propose new features, tell how to improve existing ones.

    Thanks.
