After working around dysfunctional Android application settings by re-installing the respective apps (https://together.jolla.com/question/99185/11724-android-app-settings-not-always-available/) and activating the "allow application background services to start on bootup" option for e.g. Google+ and Google Calendar I noticed that most Android notifications still are not getting through to SFOS. I also performed a few reboots so this option can take its full effect (it is not clear from the description whether the user is supposed to reboot the device to make the background services start).

Sometimes, a few notifications would appear after a few hours. But in most cases the outdated, partial information was not helpful at all. Also, when tapping the respective entry, the events view would close and nothing more would happen (I'd expect that the corresponding app would appear, but no).

Apps tested so far include Google+, Google Calendar, and Google Hangouts.

I have exactly the same problem also with Coderus Android notifications App. With the previous update this problem seems to not be present...
