Before the update on 1.1.7 Björntäsket I received notificatins on the notification scree, when new Messages in threema arrived. After update to 1.1.7 I don't receive these notifications anymore. Even though the avatars of my contacts are not shown anymore. I did no changes on the app, only the OS update

I am also on the latest Firmware. But i have also Coderus android notifications installed any new notifications will shown on the event screen.

Try to apply the threema.apk once again, you won't loose any data, just like upgrading. On former firmwares it showed effect for me.
EDIT: btw I'm also on 1.1.7.x with coderus' android notification without problems
I tried it. One thing changed, threema is now available in App-Settings. I set "Allow background processes", but it doesn't change the behavior. I will try it with k9 Mail to see, if ist is something with Android notifications in general, or something specific to threema. I'll post the result tomorrow.

So, here is, what I did, and it works now: Reboot after OS update - didn't help Installing Coderus android notifications - didn't help Reinstalling threema.apk - didn't help Setting "allow background processes" - didn't help Rebooting again - helped!
I will not delete Coderus android notifications, I like the tool. Thanks to all for the advises, in total, it helped a lot.

Same for Messenger. Also while the phone is set to silent, Messenger still sends vibration alerts, but that's another bug. :)
