I was setting my default ringtone volume with the slider at the settings main page. When I let go of the slider, it disappeared. Restarting didn't help. After restart opening the app took longer than usual. I can still set my default ringtone volume at sound settings, so it's not a big deal.

Go to Settings → System → Sounds and feedback, do a long press on the slider and select "Add to favourites" :)

Go to Settings -> System -> Sounds and feedback - long press on the Default ringtone volume-slider and select from the drop down menu Add to favourites. This should return it to the Settings front page.

You can add it back to the main page by long pressing the slider that is deeper in the settings.
