Goal

The goal is to find the most attractive specs for the successor to JP-1301. Not a bunch of alternatives but one single set of specs. You, the users, will decide what you want.

2015-12-30 - Have a look at the review of Smartisan T2. The minimalism of that phone would be better complimented by SailfishOS, wouldn't it? But is it what we want for Jolla J2? (Yes, the question is a bit troll-ish but there's a good reason for that).

2015-11-07 The Rush before Slush - Slush 2015 starts in just a couple of days. Don't just sit there anxiously waiting for Jolla news. Distract your head and put it to good use here instead. Time waits for noone.

2015-11-07 - The Meizu M2 has similar hardware to the specs below. Compare with that phone and adjust your suggestions if necessary.

2015-09-18 - OtherHalf or not? J2 could use the OtherHalf system. Would that be a good idea or not? The difference in cost is probably tiny.

2015-09-16 - What about the camera? Any suggestions for good camera modules?

2015-09-08 - The hunt for an opensource SoC begins

No, this one is intended to gather a set of specifications, although I don't still get how @vattuvarg wants us to provide and vote them.

@Giacomo Di Giacomo Me neither. There are a ton of threads about "JP2" that have specs, so I don't see how this one is different.

Too much power i think is not necessary. This Jolla need to support TOH because there are like me that have spent over 100€ only for covers. Battery. We need a battery that kill other phones, 2 days or more would be very appreciated. Quad core phone SoC i think can be honest with 3 gb of ram. A good software can have better low power hardware, less watt and better software ;-)

more space for externel devices (at least 2 microSD, for ex. 1 internal and 1 external with slot)

Yes maybe TOH with the same sensor that was bulid in the Nokia N808 , With a Xeon Flash

OtherHalf solutions belong to another thread, I'm afraid. (Similar solutions have been suggested in other threads before but the i2c bus is simply too slow. The only option would be to connect via Wi-Fi).

Keep TOH concept, but replace I2C with (or preferable add) "internal" USB or at least SPI for more speed.

There are many good ideas to customize the Jolla phone.
Different people value different things. So the ideas are diverse.
It doesn't make much sense to try to fit everything into a "one size fits all" product.
Still, they are great and valuable ideas.

Not being limited to the original hardware design and software is what really makes the Jolla phone different.

I2C is a good and proven bus. It is mainly designed for working with sensors and well supported by a number of MCUs and I think that's what the designers of the J1 had in mind.

But (as always) it appears that the customer wants more, as soon as you show the first samples :)

USB or SPI can provide the speed needed, so third party providers could build more of the TOHs the customers want.

You could have commented or voted on all of the above specs in their respective category instead of posting as an answer. At a quickl look, it seems like all of your suggestions have been mentioned before. We are working towards the goal of just one set of specs. Adding combinations, like you've done above, is counter-productive.
