apparently there is already a first Jolla tablet review in Finnish:

m.digitoday.fi/vimpaimet/2015/08/29/viimeinkin-testissa-odotettu-jolla-tablet/201511074/66

Can someone please provide a translation, maybe just of the highlights?

"During the test to erecting Sailfish 2.0 was not yet ready." LOL - not sure erecting was needed during testing. I get a strange sense of superiority from Google Translate failing at translating finnish.

I've had many bad experiences with machine translations... Microsoft is really bad: their KB articles are translated in such a way that they are completely useless (and no option to switch back to English).

Mate- you can't translate finnish. FINNISH IS THE STRONGEST ENCRYPTION Vai mitä?

@jollailija well it certainly keeps people from using my Jolla: "huh, wtf?"

I tried google translator and it worked o.k. That is what I understand:

The bottom line appears to be: hardware is good, except for the cameras. Responsiveness is good. Battery life is o.k. Android support is not perfect yet.

EDIT: I interpreted "iron is enough" as to mean "hardware is good enough"

The tablet particularly suits linux enthusiasts.

All in all I expect no big surprise for Jolla Phone users.

That's the gist of it. One point they make about Android support is that it is buggy due to the Intel processor. They had an error message pop up using Aptoide, and many of the Android applications would not run - something that is known to Jolla and should be fixed in a later relase of SFOS. They were running 1.1.9.26.

Thanks. I was wondering about the many mentions of the word 'Aptoide' and Kauppa (which means 'Store' I think).

That's right, kauppa == store. To be fair the translation isn't that bad, it's just not that great either. You do get the main points of the article, it's just not very good english.

I wonder if their interpretation is true, though. Even without an Intel CPU, some Android apps won't run because the rely on missing Google Play APIs. So it would be interesting to know which ones they tried and what the real reason was for them failing. There's a few Android apps that are unlikely to ever be available natively (like my cable provider's TV app) and I'd hate to miss them (for longer than a month) on the tablet.

@ossi1967 agreed, that article is not very informative about the actual warning that pops up. They do however also say that some application failed to even start, although I've had that problem on the phone as well, so it isn't necessarily anything to do with the chip.
