Is it possible to plug a USB-device into the jolla tablet?

I recently saw a genius adapter making it possible to connect normal USB devices into e.g. phones (everything with a female micro USB interface).

Now I want to know if it will be possible to plug one of those into the jolla tablet.

The software need not be much different from a normal desktop computer and bluetooth keyboards seem (looking at Björnträsket) seem already supported, so that wouldn't need much, if any, refactoring.

Current phones (not all, but a few) have problems with outputting power through the cable as it is only built for charging/data transfer, which only involves "receiving" the current (technically wrong I know).

At the moment I have problems finding a usable wireless keyboard so this would be great.

Hi, sorry @benaryorg, I misread your post at first. That's why I removed my previous answer, sorry about that. I hadn't fully read your title, as you are asking about USB OTG with the tablet, not the phone, my answer was phone related.

Nonetheless, I believe your question has already been asked and as far as I can tell, YES, the TABLET will have USB OTG.

I answered that particular question about the tablet here; https://together.jolla.com/question/71562/request-support-for-usb-otg-mhl/

I'm not sure about wireless keyboards for use with tablet or the phone.

As far as I know the tablet supports USB OTG, so yes, it's possible.
