Option to delete old email on sync

I wish the Email app would have a setting for automatically deleting messages from the phone during sync that has already been deleted on the server. My Lumia did just that.

I usually just check if I get important mail on the phone and then download the emails later with Thunderbird on my laptop but then I still have to delete the email on both my Jolla and my laptop.

What kind of email account are you using? It's working as expected with my IMAP accounts.

The email app on Jolla is simply totally borked, we need not more options, but more reliability.

This issue has been already reported in various forms.

Maybe a few reproducible cases would help them to fix it.

BTW: N9 had similar issues, but not that serious.
