Please fully support landscape mode in Sailfish OS 2.0.

Edit 2105-09-15: There is an inconsistency/bug in the current set-up of landscape mode, which is quite annoying, here are two screenshots describing the issue:

  1. The App covers are in portrait, while the statusbar is in landscape: App Covers in portrait.

  2. The Events View is in portrait when peeking while the phine is in landscape: Events in portrait

I'm guessing the landscape issue is already addressed in the Tablet, so why not in the Phone? Also this should be the same with the Events view.

UPDATE: Version 2.0.0.10 still doesn't fully support landscape.

Yes! I have been waiting for this since i bought my phone. Constantly rotating the phone gets really annoying.

Yes, coming from Nokia N9, where "everybody" had the landscape mod installed, I was very surprised that that Sailfish OS was not developed with this in mind from the very start. However, the initial release showed a design specifically made for portrait.

Now, with v 2.0 coming up, for phone and tablet, I had expected that the design team had seen the flaw, and rebuilt certain core components for portrait/landscape.

But no. Once again, I am surprised.

I saw the landscape covers on the phone in a glance on a Potugese review [2:58] of MWC 2015. So I guess it's just not completed yet and it will be released hopefully on next updates.

@AliNa, I think so too, because I think it's already implemented on the Tablet. It would look just horrible if it wasn't. :)
