Bug: Email app receives messages but says "problem with sync"

The Jolla email app receives messages properly from my Gmail account but says "problem with sync". It gives no explanation on what the problem is and there is no way of finding out.

EDIT: For me personally, the problem no longer occours on version >=, however it seems that other people are still experiencing it sometimes.

@ortylp The error sometimes disappears but I still don't quite understand what the problem is.

Do you have more than one account ? maybe the problem is not in the gmail account. Error reporting will be improved, but probably will not provide much technical information anyway since most users will not understand it and will be just confusing for them.

I've got the problem too. It appears when i had moved some mails to a folder which i've renamed in thunderbird. And the mail app had not resynced the folder list. I had to readd the mail account. I had not checked if the mail app really does not resync the folder list. That would be interesting.
