Hello sailors , Today while chatting in whatsapp found out that after the latest sailfish 2.0 update , when i am chatting with a person the whatsapp automatically brings me to the home screen and when i click on it again it loads up. Same happens while multitasking , when we minimize whatsapp or hike and again load it up then it will load as if we have opened a new app. So i think there is some problem while multitasking so that whatsapp andhike loads eachtime it is minimized and reopened. Please take actions !

Is this using Android Whatsapp? This doesn't happen in Whatsup.

Does work Android Whatsapp even after 1.1.9.28 upgrade. I can not connect the phone Whatsapp service? Profile data update stage the message "Failed to connect. Please try again later"

So basically the OOM Killer is killing whatsapp because there is no memory left anymore. So either you have to much applications open or whatsapp itself uses to much memory.

The new behavior on the home screen is to show even oom killer closed applications for easy reaccess to them.

also, if you enable whatsapp to run a background service, you can still receive messages. but yes, it looks like oom is killing whatsapp.

Well, OOM Killer shouldn't kill apps that are actively running. That seems to be an issue with android apps in general.

Yeah happening too frequently. i.e Whatsapp or hike or anyother application closes just in 1min and if you are lucky in 2mins max. Thats it. The Sailfish 2.0 is runing my previous sailfish experiences which were stable an awesome !

use whatsup 0.1-10

It is a native app for whtsapp.
