Hello good People, since the update to 1.1.9.28 the browser behaves sometimes very strange. For example if I go to 9gag.com and scroll sometime, the automatic updating of the site seems to break and I cannot reload the side, go back or change to another site. The only option to get back to normal behaviour, is to restart the browser and start from anew. I tried to close the tab as well and sometimes it works, sometime it won't. Unfortunately it is not always reproducable. But if you need some logs or anything I will gladly try to get you some.

EDIT 23.10.15: Seems like 2.0.0.10 fixed the issue. Thanks a lot

Yeah I also noticed sometimes when called from another app the browser does change the url but the webpage does not load or stays white. Reloading or going into landscape and back to portrait helps to make it visible again.

Unfortunately any logs that could be useful in debugging this feature can be only collected from debug builds. Could you check if adding

user_pref("layers.progressive-paint", false); user_pref("layers.low-precision-buffer", false);

to the bottom of ~/.mozilla/mozembed/prefs.js fixes the problem?

I copied into the file and will tell you as soon as it appears again or in three days time if nothing happens ;)

Unfortunately it didn't help.

I'll see if I can find some time this week to take a closer look at this. Is there any sub-page on which the bug is easiest to reproduce?

Since the upgrade to 1.1.9.28 the browser strangely displays text in a first step "unfocussed", after several seconds the rendering improves and the text is back readable.

It is to improve the scrolling speed, especially on tablet.

Since the update to 1.1.19.28, in connecting the wi-if to a new network the browser do not open the login page nor reach a blank page. It runs for a wile and crash. Any suggestio how to retrieve some log info to help in fixing the problem?

Well some logs would certainly be useful. If you could start the terminal application, run sailfsh-browser and collect its output I'd be grateful. An example command to do so "sailfish-browser 2&>1 | tee debg.log". Browser output should end up in a file named debug.log in your home directory (/home/nemo)

I follow your hints, but the result is an empty file.
