Cannot uninstall tutorial [answered]
Well, it is not a real issue, but it's quite annoying.
After update
devel-su pkcon remove sailfish-tutorial
is not able anymore to uninstall tutorial app. It tries to update something instead. It seems something related to new dependencies between packages, but I am not sure.
My previous answer is removed as it contained bad information. I hope you didn't go ahead with my instructions, as you will be presented with a black screen on your device and no UI to sort it. I've had to TELNET to my device and reset it - oh sh*t!
My most sincere apologies if you did follow my previous post, please respond asap and tell if you did or didn't follow my instructions!, I hope you didn't! :(
Spam Hunter ( 2015-09-12 15:43:27 +0200 )editDon't worry. I didn't. Years of GNU/Linux usage tought me to not force something my package manager doesn't want to do :P
My question was more like a curiosity, I can live with tutorial still on my phone.
AnonUser4803 ( 2015-09-12 15:57:41 +0200 )editPHEW!, I would have hated for you to be sat there, cursing and trying to furiously update back to 1.1.9.28 ( which I am now doing! :D )
One thing I do know is, this is FOR SURE, if you find the application .desktop file, you can add
Spam Hunter ( 2015-09-12 16:01:39 +0200 )editNoDisplay=true
to the list. The icon is then hidden from launcher.
