Don't change locked orientation when opening / maximising apps
When you've locked the orientation by leaving your finger on the screen and rotating the device, you surely want it to stay like that (until you rotate it again).
At present, newly opened or maximised apps take the device's current actual orientation, instead of the locked one, which makes the feature less useful.
Thanks.

Agreed. Wasn't it always like that, though? I don't remember about starting new apps but it always annoyed me that switching between apps always lost the current orientation lock as the device always reverted to portrait in the home screen. Luckily it was not such a big problem to hold and rotate again.

MikeHG ( 2015-09-13 13:46:27 +0300 )editYep it's been always like this (also notification will "open" that temporary lock). I would also like to have fix to this, since I also have the bad habit to read "few things" in bed. :)
huuhaa ( 2015-09-14 10:49:35 +0300 )editI agree. App’s orientation should change only when I rotate the device again.
