[feature request] Include app drawer in home screen carousel

Since the addition of a carousel in Sailfish 2.0 I'd like the app drawer to be included in the carousel, like the layout in Nokia N9. It could still be available as a swipe up entry point as it is now as well.

Why should you add a screen that you can get with a single swipe? The only effect I can see is to slow down the carousel cycle.

Because it would be easier to ergonomically reach from the home or events view. Compare reaching to the bottom or the closest side of the screen with your thumb. The double pull you have to do to scroll "normally" when you have more than 9 apps open isn't user friendly either.

I know how I used it on my Nokia N9 and I really liked it.

Have you noticed that when you have empty home screen single tap will show you first row of applications.

This feature is not available if there even one active application visible in the home screen.

I think that this tapping feature should extended to work also with active applications

I believe that this carousel is patented by Nokia. I also don't agree with this suggestion.
