Under the Settings > Apps > Phone menu you can set a Voicemail number for your service. This allows you to long press on the 1 key of the keypad to automatically dial the voicemail number.

The voicemail notification, when clicked on opens the phone app, but still requires you to manually select and dial the voicemail number. Shouldn't this automatically dial the configured voicemail number?

Since there are separate notifications for a missed call and a voicemail, I would expect that the missed call notification opens the call log, and the voicemail notification dials the voicemail number.

Sounds cool, but not a bug imo. feature request?

quick dbus-monitor check..... and yes you're right, its explicitly calling the 'call history' action on the phone app, and nothing to do with dialling the voicemail number. retagging to feature-request

@TellienInTouch, from the Events View Notification? which version of sailfish are you running?

I've double checked the config, and rebooted the phone, but doesnt dial the number directly from the notification. Only the keypad.

Yes exactly, with 1.1.9 version. Just an idea, in phone application parameters, my voicemail number is set. Is it the same for you?
