Hello everyone !

Here's the thing : I've downloaded Mazelock because it's super cool but I couldn't find a way to make it work. But when I did, I though I was able to do my code again (because it was a simple thing),Nope. Now I can't do anything. Even in Recovery Mode, it is asking my code with number to do something. I could I know that if it's a Mazelock ? Anyway, can someone help me to unlock my phone ? I really don't want to send it to Jolla just for that...

I would recommend asking the developer of this app.

If you hold tab long below the maze the input will change to pincode method. Had to finger that out myself yesterday since I had a "0" in my pin which is not available in the maze :-) It might also be reasonable to read the documentation which might be found on tmo I presume. Edit: If you were using alphanumeric input and later upgraded to 1.9.28 you might have some trouble since alphanum is not available for the latest release yet afaik. However: Your question should rather be sth. like: "How to remove device lock from command line" since it can be more general.

That would be the good question but since the problem came from the situation and through this application, I couldn't avoid to mention it. I "forgot" the password because I don't know what is its representation in numbers, since it was a Mazelock. It was a simple zigzag on a 4x4, and I can't even find this. Also, I don't see the maze methode since I restarded my phone. There's nothing, and then I can type numbers when I go back from the emergency call, but the numbers are out of the screen.

If you have developer mode enabled you can try to log in to your device via ssh and deinstall the app from command line. Afterwards reboot the phone and you'll get back the old unlock screen. You have to enter the code of course and it should be one with numbers. If you know the gesture, you can just follow that by typing the number (if you have a gesture that looks like an "L" for example, starting from upper left ending at lower right, then your code should be 1-4-7-8-9 (if you only have 3x3 maze size that is).

And you can enter "62935625" in numeric or "mazelock" in alphanumeric mode to show mazelock again (see documentation on openrepos: https://openrepos.net/content/coderus/patch-mazelock)

I didn't find a way to show mazelock, even with what you said... I have developer mode, can you give me the commands to uninstall mazelock ? I did a zigzag, simple thing...

Thank you for your answer !

First I'd try to unlock with numeric. I presume you tried 1-2-3-5-7-8-9 (for upper left started zigzag)? Maybe you have to try combinations where the number in between have been skipped (1-3-7-9, 1-2-3-7-9, 1-3-5-7-8-9, etc.). I'd recommend that because you need that number anyway to unlock your phone after deinstalling mazelock. And you couldn't find a way to get back to mazelock by entering "62935625"?? In that case you should really contact Coderus.

Uninstall/Troubleshoot infos can be found in comments on openrepos as well: check https://openrepos.net/comment/7753#comment-7753 and below.

But even with that, it's not possible to disable the Devicelock right ?

AA-0001 ( 2015-09-17 16:47:29 +0300 )edit

No, probably not. That's why I said you should try to enter the code without uninstalling mazelock. If you can't switch to mazelock input by entering the special code that is ment to switch you really should contact coderus in order to find a solution or you may have to do a full factory reset/reinstallation.

You can write your code by numbers

But I did it as a Mazelock so I didn't pay attention to the numbers (It can also be letters by the way). And when I restarted my phone, no Mazelock, there's the keyboard and the password is written out of the screen...

AA-0001 ( 2015-09-17 15:07:08 +0300 )edit

It's only letters for Mazelock sizes greater 3x3. If you only use 3x3 then those are numbers (see my answer above).

naytsyrhc ( 2015-09-17 15:40:35 +0300 )edit

I'm not sure but I think it's a 4x4 by default.

AA-0001 ( 2015-09-17 15:46:26 +0300 )edit

Ok. That would be new. It was 3x3 when I installed it once.
