UPDATE: Problem to replace email tones from gallery solved with Naamankajärvi 1.0.3.8 update.

This issue is about user created ambiences that are set as favourites in gallery ambience menu.

I'm no longer able to switch original email tones to custom ones on user created ambiences. Userface let's you to change the email tone but after tapping save or swiping to the left for approval, email tone is reseted back to original jolla-emailtone. Problems are affecting all usermade ambiences. Tried removing/reinstalling TOH and rebooting device, but problem still occurs. Device is using latest Maadajävri update. Can someone confirm this and is there a fix coming for this?

Please take notice that changing tones for factory installed ambiences is not possible (yet) in gallery where ambiences are located.

i have the same problem now! so i delete every ambience and recreate and now i cannot set any tones: i set "mytone" to message tone, save and remani "no sound" for every tones!

Update: After further testing I noticed changing the emailtone from settings/sounds and feedback, you are able to change emailtone to your liking when changing sounds presets in phone settings.

However altering the emailtone is not possible at all from gallery/ambiences, although all other sounds can be set according to specified ambience without a problem.

i have copy my personal ringtones in /usr/share/sounds/jolla-ringtones/stereo/*.mp3 so i have a list of all my ringtones... but i noticed this bug now! persist the voice "no sound" in every ambience i have... and i cannot change with any sound

I have my music and ringtones copied to Music folder in phone memory via PC, but the changing the own email tone doesn't work when customizing ambiences, although every other sound works fine.(I forgot to mention that factory installed ambiences cannot be tuned by setting own tones.)

Thank you for reporting these problems.

There are several fixes coming to ambience profile handling. Those will land on your device in the future updates.

I'm wondering why I cannot edit anything except the volume on the ambiances that came with the phone, for example Baby Flower. Is it intentional?

There is same problem for all factory installed ambiences, you must make own custom ambience from picture in order to customize separate sounds in ambience menu. You can change the sounds in settings-sound&feedback, but it affects all ambiences not one particular one. Hope it helps :)

All factory installed ambiences are read-only except the volume level for ringtone.
