Upgrade when WLAN only is checked will still download without WLAN

This is almost a bug, but probably not. I started an upgrade (to 1.1.9.28) thinking that I was on WLAN, but turns out I wasn't, so I hit my data traffic limit for this month instead. Now that I look carefully the "WLAN only" setting is only for "Check for updates", but I would prefer if it also prevented accidentally doing the upgrade without WLAN. I always have WLAN in the office and did not notice that for whatever reason the phone can not connect to it today. Someone really wanting to make an upgrade without WLAN could always use one of the other settings?

So you cheched for an update while connected to a WLAN, but downloaded it while not connected? If so, I see your point, the option to check/download an update should be bound to the setting:

  • Manually - Doesn't matter what kind of connection the user has
  • WLAN - Only check and download while connected to a Wi-Fi network
  • Always - Doesn't matter what kind of connection the user has

Exactly. I saw the update using WLAN before leaving home in the morning, then started the download after arriving at work where there is usually also WLAN.
