lock screen media controls [answered]

Could the music control buttons on the lock-screen be used for other players than Media as well? I hope those could control any currently active player, at least any native ones.

They do work with cutespot, so I think it ia player implementation dependent.

They are interfaced by MPRISv2 D-BUS so any app can make use of them... which players have it implemented is yours to find out. I also think this is a duplicate but am too lazy to look it up.

Yeah, I think this can be closed. If there are no controls showing on the lockscreen, that's an issue of the media player and not of the OS.
