How do you get album covers for m4a audio files to show?

The albums I have in m4a files will not display their album cover in the media app. Mp3 files shows album cover fine. How do I get the album cover to appear?

Although there seems to be a solution available (below), that one needs to include the cover into every audio file, if I got it right. However, I would prefer to have the cover in a folder.jpg file in the folder of the album. This is the way I do it with all my mp3 albums and it works just fine. I'd like to avoid retagging all (m4a) albums or having two different systems, folder.jpg for mp3 and tags for m4a.

This is ongoing and as per a post from last year; https://together.jolla.com/question/41330/media-application-should-show-album-covers-from-m4a-files/ - this is still not resolved.

However, I found 1 album on my PC in .m4a format. Only 1 track appeared to have album art, the first track, but it wouldn't show the cover art once on my device. Eventually, I used MP3Tag and retagged the whole album, fed it back to the device, scanned for new music and now it shows album art.

Link for MP3Tag if you require it - http://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html

What a load of mucking about eh!, but it works :)
