how to edit file in root access? [answered]

after resetting phone, i am trying to edit this:

'Gain root access via devel-su, then add the following lines to the file /usr/share/lipstick/androidnotificationproperties:

Threema;chat,chat_exists package:ch.threema.app;chat,chat_exists'

it's been a while since. i have enabled root following this instructions, but now don't remember how to edit the file. thx for the help...

I prefer to SSH to my device, then use Nano to edit files. pkcon install nano

Then you would move to the directory you want to work in, then (devel-su), then type nano myfile.qml (enter).

The keystrokes/commands are laid out at the bottom of the screen. Viewing these keystrokes/commands on Jolla is not too easy but can still be used.
