[Feature request] Word completion should not remove words when continuing typing

When I type I only have a half eye on the auto complete row and when I see the word I was trying to type I tap that. But sometimes I manage to type one or two letters more and even though those letters are the correct letters for the word I type the completed word might be removed from the suggestion bar.
For instance, typing in swedish I want to type "fördelen" ("the advantage") and I start with "förd" and the top word suggested is "fördelen", but before I react to that I manage to type the following 'e' and instead of still showing "fördelen" as top suggestion it switch to show "fördelar" as top suggestion and "fördelen" is completely removed from the suggestion bar. I can't recall seeing the same behavior in neither iOS, Android nor Windows Phone.
This behavior existed in previous versions, hence I don't tag this with 1.1.9.28.
