To improve multitasking, I'd like my first app cover to be placed on bottom right, 2nd to bottom left, and all the rest adding new rows above expanding the Home view upwards instead of downwards.

Some notes on what this change would bring to us:

  • By default, this would bring the first opened apps always right under your thumb
  • Launcher view would be even easier to reach with a flick, even after more than 9 apps are launched
  • Expanding UI vertically to both up (app covers) and down (launcher icons) seems more intuitive to me
  • Currently, flick down doesn't do anything. An empty gesture without any feedback is bad for user experience
  • This would leave room to bring back the favorite apps to the bottom row

actually I would prefer to have app covers in fixed locations. It would be nice to have a choice here, like to be able to pin an app cover on a fixed location

@FJVA They are on fixed location since 1.1.9.28 (first on top left, new rows added below when needed). You can also change their place with each other to your preferred location using a long hold gesture and pulling the covers.

nice idea. This would be a much more logical orientation of covers.

Yes, this would be great. I'd also like to be able to keep the covers big after opening the 5th app, but that's another feature request.
