[ REQUEST: user comfort ] Call homescreen by double-tap [duplicate]

After waking the phone by double-tap ( usually by thumb ) – why not just double-tap again for Home view – without changing the “direction of flow” ?


Even though I posted this a while ago within the jolla blog I'm doing it here again to make it votable for a hopefully improved SFOS 2 experience ...

that might cause problems if you accidentally touch the screen multiple times, for example in your pocket. I think it's good to have two distinct gestures for unlocking the phone to prevent unwanted unlocking

@till ... well a recognizable double-tap in your pocket is not likely to happen ;)

This can already by activated manually by MCE tool:

So I guess the question could be reworded as a request to make this available as an option from the UI ?
