[ REQUEST: user comfort ] Session Resumability [duplicate]

Why not keeping the last used app / action “hot” - i.e. resumable ? Could be very useful for ongoing note-taking, unfinished email reply, ongoing chat, and so forth if it were possible to directly resume activity after waking up / unlocking the device from locking. Maybe those "hot" sessions could be integrated & accessible as sessions per se in the “carousel” ? Maybe even more intelligently: if not resuming withing a definable period ( e.g. 20min ) waking up will bring back the conventional homescreen and the active session as a usual tile ...


Even though I posted this a while ago within the jolla blog I'm doing it here again to make it votable for a hopefully improved SFOS 2 experience ...

Or wake the phone up and resume to the previous application by double tap or even a simple tap if the phone has not been moved in the meanwhile. I have it often somewhere on my desk.
