Hi together!

My idea was to change silent ambiences to just vibration (no ringtones), to have an almost silent alarm clock. Therefore I changed rintone for clock to none ringtone. After changing to another ambience and reswitched to silent ambeince, the changes were gone and default settings were there.

Now my question: was it the intend of the OS or is it a bug? If not, how can I make the changes last for longer?

Ambiences act as 'set General Setting to' so a Silent ambience would need to have all sounds be set to no sound for all items to not have any Ringtone set. You have to activate all actions for that (add action on the bottom). If you have done that already, this is indeed a bug.

Thanks for your answer.

I missed to say that I set the phone into flight mode (plus alarm clock to no tone and set vibration on) so no ringtones but only the alarm clock should vibrate.

So the point is that these settings were not stored beyond changing ambiences.

How should I now go on? Tagging this thread as a bug?

I still read that you did not set other tones but alarm. Switching ambiences and have the latest not have all tones set to no sounds will always end up in having some previously set sound applied as your current ambience does only set alarm to no sound and leaves the others alone. Read the ambience setup as a list what to change.
