As their name says, active covers should show real time information on home as well as while peeking. Please keep them alive!

There are two kinds of problems with active covers currently on 1.1.9.28:

  1. Some apps, like Media, show the outdated info while peeking and will be updated just when released, reported in a separate post;

  2. Some other apps, like Jolla Store, Settings and Notes, show no usable info. Settings and Notes are discussed earlier.

But how about the Jolla Store? On previous releases it at least showed number of updates. It could show even more info about whether it's updating, downloading, installing, etc, but on 1.1.9.28, to my surprize nothing at all. Active covers should be active, please don't deactivate them!

Edit:

Still valid for 2.0.2.48 Aurajoki realease.

I also found that some apps going to suspend while not in use like on Android or iOS devices. I am not glad to have such behaviour on my Jolla phone and it will not be so great for me if Jolla Tablet has 'suspendable' apps too. I`d rather return my pre-order money back instead of having such kind of lack of usability and performance. I do not appreciate Android and iOS apps run style. Will it be changed or how can I downgrade to Sailfish 1 on my phone?

P.s. I do not want such behaviour on Tablet.

Seems to be a duplicate of: https://together.jolla.com/question/108327/bug-11928-peeking-now-freezes-the-running-app/ .

@gunt3er: This is the new behaviour of Apps which has been killed by an OOM-situation (out of [RAM-] memory) and is considered as a feature: https://together.jolla.com/question/108599/11928-alarming-oom-behavior-killing-apps/

@Alex, of course not. I'm talking about covers, especially of Jolla Store.
