android app crashes

This may be a bug report. An android app (the german spiegel app) crashes from time to time. I now observed this for a while.
- Happens since upgrade to Sailfish OS 2
- Happens only after a phone uptime greater than appr. 3 days using the app appr. 1h a day
- First the app itself crashes every now and then
- Then, later, the complete phone freezes, even the display
- The OS's memory should be ok. I have the memory-checker installed (forgot the name of it)
- Happens since an upgrade to a new app version as well
So after all there should be a memory leak in your jvm, maybe caused by the app itself (it is not a son of Monty, is it?). Ok, whatever, but why the f... hell does the complete phone freeze in the end? Monty just killed the Java PID, as I assume. And the phone kept on running.
So you seem to import leaks to your jvm layer, if a (buggy) Java app is being closed or crashes. Just make it asynchronous.

Yes, I can confirm this bug/issue: I am using the Spiegel App v 2.6.82 (newer versions also require Google SpyServices) since a long time and also already experienced many problems with SailfishOS version lower than 1.1.9.28 so it's not just related to one SailfishOS version.
My issues with the app are also worse: I really often experiencing that the App will freeze after some time using this app, the whole phone will also freeze and you are unable to do anything. After about 10 seconds of freezing my Jolla will just reboot - without any LED flashing or aomething else, the display just jumps from the freezed App screen to the Jolla logo and reboots by its self.
