cellular network alerts not received/displayed [duplicate]

Cellular service networks send alerts to the phone, most importantly on out-going call end or SMS send for pre-paid service. These either are not being received by the Jolla phone or Sailfish, or are not being displayed.
Along with the older question on 'cellular broadcast', these are actually deal-breakers in major markets like India.
Also, these are GSM standard things; I guess the corresponding source code is not 'free as in freedom'.
Without these bugs being fixed, Jolla/Sailfish can't be recommended to anybody!
