Hi! Since the last update to official 2.0 (Saimaa), when I touch on a Facebook feed on events view, it now opens on Facebook web browser - on the last OS version, it was wonderfully opening on the Android app. Can this be changed? It's great to have social feeds on events view, but very frustrating to have the web browser opened instead of an app (the same happens with Twitter).

I would prefer a native app to handle events. Though since they wont support every facebook feature, this should probably be configurable in the accounts settings

I would certainly like that also. It would be great to choose how do you want to manage your social feeds. For example, with Facebook, when I click do I want to be redirected to the web browser or to a selected Facebook app (either being on Android or native).

There is a regression of social feeds on 2.0. Everything is now being redirected to the browser, you can't do anything from events view anymore. I believe this should be dealt with. First we no longer have account sync with Facebook, now we have no ability to do anything locally.

P.S maybe you should rename the question to get more attention. Something like "SFOS 2.0 social feed regression"

Thanks, done. It's weird as, depending on what kind of Facebook feed you select (events invite, comments etc), it sometimes open on the app, either on the native browser...very strange.

i am not using fb, so does it open fb app for one type of events only? and for others always the browser?

i would suspect androidnotificationpriorities file to be incomplete
