Hi Sailors,

Proximus launched a couple days ago 4G+. They will combine the 800 and 1800 Mhz band to 'one' 4G band to increase the download and upload speed. I saw that the Jolla Phone supports both bands but will it work in Sailfish OS? Can we see the difference on which type of 4G my Jolla is currently on?

Cheers, Dylan

No, Jolla Phone does not support LTE-A (advanced).

Is it a hardware issue or a software issue? In case of hardware, it will never be.

Carrier aggregation (like combining two bands as in the article you linked to) requires new hardware.
