The reason I ask for swapping event view with app launcher is I find that I use app launcher much more frequently than using event view. Also I hate stretch my thumb to reach the bottom of the screen to pull out the app launcher

This would be useful.

But please ask for "options" for both ways instead of changes.

Or like Jolla called it during launch of 2.0 preview for the Jolla phone: More personalization (which so far is a characteristic which I am still looking for in 2.0)

From the blog post by Jolla:

"*More personalization

There are now even more options enabling you to personalize the phone according to your needs.

One example is defining the behavior of the top edge swipe gesture: you can choose to keep it as an ambience switcher or change it to close apps directly with one top swipe (like before).*"

I really want this just because of an opposite view.

  1. I use events view and especially quick settings more than app launcher and a swipe from bottom on top of any app is more convenient to see notifications and events.
  2. For switching between apps it happens very often for me to go back to home to check if I have already opened the app, then opening the launcher. So the launcher access from every where is not much helpful.
