[feature-request] Control network access for android apps
Hi folks,
since we have now the possibility to allow/deny access to contacts for android app, I think we should also have the opportunity to allow/deny network access of android apps. The problem I have is that many apps constantly send/receive "stuff" through the internet although the actual functionality of the app is not in need of it (games for example).
First side-effect of that is higher battery consumption: a comparison of 2 games , native and android with the same game idea showed up to 50% more consumption for the android app. And the second is of course ads, I don't have a problem with ads in general but if the ads consume more than 200mb in 2 weeks it is not funny any more.
Would be nice to decide android app - network access at home/in wlan but denied in mobile network
That is a killer-feture, but it has to be on a per-app basis. Some apps must always be able to connect to their mother server for data update, e.g. train schedues, weather... An application based firewall is needed.

Im now using AFWall+ (Android App) to disallow certain apps the ability to connect to the web. but why do I need an android app for this instead of a functionality natively implemented in SFOS?
