Jolla should release a leather case other half for the protection of the device.

I guess Jolla has enough projects for the near future :) ... leave such things to accessory developers

+1 for leather case but as has been said, this would be more for accessory devs.

+1 for leather case, battery, TOH, etc. Jolla could make some revenue! Even a spare T-shirt would be nice. Don't leave it to accessory developers. Or at least license accessories!

Third party accessory developers should be able to license the Jolla logo.

Hi, there I just want to share with you that there is a guy who is crafting leather cases for Jolla phones. Take a look at his shop http://ryanlondon.com/collections/iphone-case/products/jolla-smartphone-leather-case

It has arrived: http://shop.jolla.com/cat-accessories/insmat-flip-case-for-jolla.html

Still not a full TOH though

Still glued to the TOH. And the top and bottom edges are exposed. Just to have a slim already leather covered TOH that clamps on to the device.

Those are good news, at last Jolla has started delivering accessories beside TOH.

the insmat flip case fits nicely but its material is treated with some strong chemical. skin on my hand reacts to it a little bit. hope it wears of in the next couple of days..(recieved the flip case last week)

Yeah. I'd really love to see a flipcase OtherHalf. Not something I have to glue on or wrap around the phone and make it 1cm thicker. Similar to Samsungs Flip Cover Case.

Insmat.fi have a perfect case, item #650-2088, black leather, but they won't supply outside Finland.... why not?

oh, that flipcase reminds me an idea, that it should be transparent and have physical buttons which align to phone app numbers and enables one to have dumbphone experience. or is it possible to create such silicon keyboard which can be applied to a touchscreen to mimic hardware keyboard, of course keyboard layouts would pose a problem, but ... would be pretty cool i think.

why not? Make it printable at home and anyone can prinz it´s own layout.

Why is the official Jolla flip case different to the insmat.fi flip case? The type number is identical (Type: 650-2088).

Received my insmat.fi case from Jolla. Makes the phone a bit chunky but excellent nevertheless. Certainly feels like the phone is well-protected. Doesn't need the holes on the front (like the insmat.fi illustration).
