Let's make a new blog TOGETHER! [not relevant]

This post is a wiki. Anyone with karma >75 is welcome to improve it.
As some of you might know, Simo has put ReviewJolla on ice and many other blogs are pretty passive (no offence).
So, my idea is to make a blog with several members of the community making and moderating it. That way it could have more regular content than blogs ran by one person.
So, who's with me?
(you can also contact me via email, adress can be found from my GitHub profile)
Okay, I made a GitHub organizationfor us, come and join in on the fun! Also, the site's address is cool: https://jollacommunity.github.io/blog We will use Jekyll :)
Current status
The name shall be "Jolla Community Blog" and we shall use GitHub pages&Jekyll. Unfortunately I can't set up Jekyll right now as Ubuntu 15.10 upgrade killed my Linux laptop. If someone else can, email me and/or create a pull request @ GitHub.
edit
I added some Slush news for fun.
This post is a wiki, I won't get any karma for upvoting
Excellent idea ! Which content do you want to provide ?
malibu1106 ( 2015-11-07 20:20:48 +0300 )editSome post categories:
jollailija ( 2015-11-07 20:21:20 +0300 )edit-Update reviews and changelogs
-Patches reviews and recommendations
-Developer tips&insights
-Command line tips 'n tricks
-"What's going on at TJC"-section
-More :)
@malibu1106 Well, I can try to keep readers up with the updates, because I read the changelogs anyway. I could also write about my (slow) learning of app development.
jollailija ( 2015-11-07 20:23:43 +0300 )editI'd love to read about app development. The really isn't much about development. Tutorials are missing. :/
utkarsh ( 2015-11-07 20:41:46 +0300 )edit@jollailija Excellent ! @utkarsh Me too !
malibu1106 ( 2015-11-07 20:45:25 +0300 )editive occasionally posted stuff to my own blog i set up for sailfish type stuff, i would be open to contirbuting to a 'community blog'
r0kk3rz ( 2015-11-07 20:49:12 +0300 )edit@utkarsh Great! I am not good enough to give tutorials, but I can tell about some mistakes that are easy to make (I have done a lot of those) and also about what's happening at the dev mailing list.
@r0kk3rz You can join as a writer/poster, there's a lot of room onboard!
I think we will need a poll to decide which platform to use soon enough ;)
jollailija ( 2015-11-07 20:53:41 +0300 )edit@jollailija I'd like that too. Any kind of development blog, I'd really love to follow. I'm not a good programmer and I'd love any help i can get.
utkarsh ( 2015-11-07 21:23:43 +0300 )editI can add the madman perspective. The engine doesn't run without a ghost in it. You are all crazy. Even more so than I am. Enough reason to follow and observe.
vattuvarg ( 2015-11-08 00:53:40 +0300 )editThis is a great idea, but why are the "old" blogs dead or passive now? JollaSuomi dead, Mobiili.fi and SuomiMobiili not writing so much about Jolla anymore, etc. Jolla not supporting them? Official Blog took their readers? Is The Official Jolla Blog the only truly active jollablog today???
kt ( 2015-11-08 08:25:51 +0300 )edit@kt Well, most of them only have one or two writers, they might be busy with other stuff or simply have lost interest.
jollailija ( 2015-11-08 10:59:27 +0300 )editThere was a poll out on twitter the other day... If jollasoumi should become active again or not. ...an overwhelming majority chose the active alternative.

vattuvarg ( 2015-11-08 11:56:09 +0300 )editJollaSuomi is alive: http://jollasuomi.fi/jolla-mukana-slush-2015-tapahtumassa/
kt ( 2015-11-10 17:01:17 +0300 )editIt's a good idea but it's kind of hard to do. I have a Chinese site here: jolla.comes.today but basically translation. In my opinion it's kind of difficult & exhausted to get news about Jolla (too little), and writing a whole article will be more tired.
