Twitter gets new tweets so often that updating every 30 minutes is very slow and it would be nice if it was able to be always up-to-date like email.

Tweetian has such feature, but new tweets don't appear in notifications, but the cover and app itself.

I just noticed that Facebook is also affected by this, but I don't know if it's possible to fix.

*every 5 minutes, that's the smallest delay.

30 is the default or at least I didn't adjust it by myself and multiple tweets also happen in 5 minutes. FB again seemed to have 15 minutes as the smallest delay, but maybe it's API restriction or something.

Well Twitter got a new option with SailfishOS 2.0.0.10: You are able to activate 'Synchronise Twitter automatically' (or named something like that) under 'Settings > Account > Twitter' and your Twitter feeds will automatically update every time you are browsing the feeds. :)

No option for Facebook though, but this notifications are also just lame & pointless and we need real facebook feeds.
