Bug: Email scheduled sync is not working [duplicate]

In the apps settings for Mail I have "Enable scheduled sync for IMAP and POP accounts" ON, and "Sync every 5 minutes", but still when I open mail it has not synced and might show "1 hour ago" or "48 minutes ago".

With these settings I would expect it to sync my IMAP mailbox (imaps.saunalahti.fi) and gmail every 5 minutes.

same here, it's really important that I get my emails asap not hours later, otherwise it's useless for my job.
