Bug: Opening a link while browser is in tab selection view duplicates the last opened tab

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open up a couple different webpages in the Jolla browser
  2. Go to tab selection view
  3. Make the browser open up a page in a new tab e.g. by clicking "Open" in the FingerTerm URL grabber

End result:

The last opened tab is duplicated instead of the clicked URL being loaded.

Do you have to be in the tab selection mode for this to happen to you? I have seen duplicated tabs occasionally now, but this happens regardless if I'm in tab selection view or just plain browsing view.

Can't say for sure but so far it has only happened while in the tab selection view.

Is this happening to you all the time or just occasionally?

I tried to replicate this with our latest development version and it is no longer happening with it, so next update probably fixes this.

Yes, I can reproduce this consistently on Maadajävri.

I can't reproduce that behavior either, not with the actions described in the question. But I've seen this myself before, that I didn't get the page I was opening by clicking a link. Instead I got a copy of an existing page. But that time I didn't have time to try to reproduce it, so I couldn't report it.

I have this problem very often when I click on links from tweetian or from twitter in the notification screen. I think that it happens if I have just closed a tab., steps to reproduce the problem: - go to twitter open a link - return to twitter open a second link, close it - return to twitter, open another link, the first tab is duplicated

Ok, seen this from time to time now. It doesn't happen every time I tap on a link in the email application, but it has happened a couple of times now. I don't have to be in tab selection mode for this to happen though.
