Just try out the BBM on my Jolla Phone. The installation works without any problems also the setup. Send and recieve messages is also great. At the settings I have click on notification with BBM sound (no other option available) and a white LED. No one of these options happends when a message arrived my phone.

At the notification center the BBM activitiy is shown correctly. Did I make a mistake at the setting of BBM?

No BBM is currently not in the list of chat applications. There is a workaround, you have to modify a config-file like described here: link

Here comes the correct setup for the link above:

BBM;chat,chat_exists
package:com.bbm;chat,chat_exists
