Hello,
Since today XMPP to Facebook has stopped working, it constantly asks to update the credentials. I have updated them several times, but it not solved the problem. Tried to delete and recreate the account, again no luck.
Do you know how to solve this issue?

The XMPP API to FB messaging is officially not supported since end of April. Unfortunately, the fact of not working is the currently expected function by FB.

Happened to me too...
Most of the time removing account -> reboot -> recreating account should help.
You also can try as user:
systemctl --user restart mission-control-5.service
without deleting and reboot.
