Home screen background is in landscape when swiping an active app [answered]

When you swipe to close an app in landscape mode, the home screen background "bleed-through" is also in landscape until the swipe ends. As the home screen does not support landscape yet, this is probably a bug or implementation oversight.

This is a bug report about the background temporarily being in landscape mode, not a feature request about home screen rotation.

This is intentional. It's there so using landscape apps looks better (because of the "bleed-through" image follows the app's orientation). If the background would rotate when peeking or closing the app it would look bad.

I guess that makes sense. Transparency probably complicates rotation functionality somewhat.

Thanks!
