SFOS update [not relevant]

Hello, i just factory reseted my Jolla, installed 2 system updates and now, when i want to install nexte update, it say "waiting for connection.." and thats all. Does anyone what can I try? I wanted to try to update system from terminal, but i havent found anything on google.

version --dup for the update via terminal, you can also use the pkcon get-updates and the pkcon update commands for the update via terminal

It should be enough to pkcon refresh and please note, upgrading with pkcon is not recommended and can actually brick your device as it has no safeguard in place, lesser so with version --dup but best is still to use the GUI!

Many users seem to have benefits when rebooting the phone

Update via the terminal, use:

  • version --dup

or

  • pkcon get-updates

  • pkcon update
