Aptoide icon disappeared, trying to install again... [duplicate]

Hello after the upgrade to Sailfish 2.0, the Aptoide icon has disppeared. I tried various installs and re-installs.

I do an install of the Aptoide appstore through the app store. Aptoide icon then appears in my apps.

However I cannot find the Aptoide icon in my available icons. It is as if it wasn't installed. Is there a place where I should look for a file and install it manually? Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

I think this is duplicate to Aptoide disappeared after update to 2.0.0.10. There is a solution in thread I've mentioned (moving aptoide apk to correct folder).

This may be related to this post

This may be caused by:

  1. Android support does not generate a .desktop file (e.g. Taobao)
  2. Android support does not generate a sytax-correct .desktop file (e.g. SmartBanking)

If you know some knowledge about linux desktop file you can make one under /usr/share/applications.

I'll upload this answer tomorrow (so late today) if no other people answers :D
