Hi,

I was just thinking, that a useful feature might be to peek from an active app (eg. notes) to the most recently opened app (eg. browser) by swiping from a user-definable side. This would make it easier to, for example, jot down some details from a website into the notes app.

Currently, I have to swipe from notes to active apps, click on the browser, swipe back again, click on notes, then note down a few numbers/words/Christmas presents and repeat. If I could just have a quick peek at the browser, I think this would speed things up immensely.

Cheers!

Rather than only the most recently opened app, there was this proposal, to be able to peek any running app, which doesn't require another swipe side: https://together.jolla.com/question/80529/peek-and-hold-to-pop-up-minimized-app/

Thanks for that. Hadn't spotted that one. It would certainly be a more flexible option. I guess browser/system wide copy+paste would be the ultimate solution: https://together.jolla.com/question/832/system-wide-clipboard-copy-paste-capability/
