Is there a solution for this? Drivers etc.? I can't see that this is addressed in any of the previous questions. If I am mistaken, please give me a hint.

Printing directly from the phone would help making Jolla a productive device.

As it is linux, it has to be cups, but that is not available. You may port it. But as long as jolla apps lack of printing options, it would be useless, anyway.

Yes, but if it was ported by someone, it could come to the Jolla apps in time.

It might be worth examining the possibility.

You can print on Epson and HP printers by installing the vendor's Android applications. I don't know about other brands.

Thank you! It's Epson - I will give it a try.

BTW: although I hardly use it, Jolla's Android support IS a nice feature.

A solution for Brother also exists.

Has someone managed to get that Epson iPrint app running? Here - on SF 2.0.5 - the app crashes as soon as I try to search for a printer... Is there something additionally needed on Android (Alien darvik) site?
